Take time to answer each question and write down your responses so you can refer back to them at a later time. This can be a great document to refer to when you’re struggling with doubt, a knock back or any other setback in your writing. You can also update it too, this isn’t set in stone.

  2. What values and beliefs do you hold that are reflected in your song writing? How do these values inspire and guide your creative process?
  3. How do you see your song writing making a difference in the world? What impact do you hope your songs will have on your listeners?
  4. What makes your song writing unique? What sets you apart from other songwriters, and how do you leverage your unique strengths to create powerful, impactful music?
  5. How do you stay motivated and focused on your song writing, even when faced with obstacles or setbacks? What strategies do you use to stay on track and continue to create meaningful music?
  6. What lessons have you learned through your song writing journey? How have these experiences shaped your perspective and inspired your creative process?
